  1. It is interesting to note that Jesus writes 7 letters to 7 churches…and Paul writes 7 letters to 7 churches. #WordStrong
  2. By examining the 7 letters of Jesus and the 7 letters of Paul, we discover a profound correlation. #WordStrong
  3. There is a very specific application of Paul’s letter to the Colossians to the Laodicean Church Period. #WordStrong
  4. In Col. 1&2, Paul addresses the doctrinal issues the church in the Laodicean Period has faced. #WordStrong
  5. In Col. 3&4, Paul addresses the practical issue the church in Laodicea has faced…RELATIONSHIPS! #WordStrong
  6. Philadelphia was the church of the OPEN DOOR. Laodicea is the church of the CLOSED DOOR. #WordStrong
  7. Philadelphia is the only letter of Jesus with no CONDEMNATION. Laodicea is the only letter with no COMMENDATION. #WordStrong
  8. Jesus said to the church in Smyrna: You’re POOR, but you’re RICH. To the Laodicean church, He said: You’re RICH, but you’re POOR. #WordStrong
  9. Because of poor water quality, Laodicea got its water from 2 neighboring cities: Colossae (cold) & Hieropolis (hot water.) #WordStrong
  10. Laodicea was known for producing & exporting an eyesalve. Interestingly, eyesalve is the very thing Laodiceans need spiritually. #WordStrong
