Identifying The Source of False Doctrines Concerning The Deity of Christ

  • The Bible is so strong in the things it tells us about dealing with false prophets and teachers because the SOURCE of their teaching is ______________ and ______________!

      • A ______________ _____________ is the real false teacher—and the person in front of you is only the _________________.
    • 1 John 4:1 (c.f. 2 Timothy 3:13)
      • Any time somebody opens their mouth to preach or teach, we have been commanded to ______ them (or, put them on _____________!), because verse 6 tells us one of two things is true:
        1. It is a prophet speaking for the “Spirit of ______________.”
        2. It is a prophet speaking for the “spirit of ______________.”
      • According to John 16:13, the ___________ __________ is the “Spirit of TRUTH!” And according to 1 Timothy 4:1, the “spirit of ERROR” is a “______________ spirit,” of a _________.
    • 1 John 4:2–3
      • “Antichrist” is not just a ____________! “Antichrist” is also a _______________ (a _____________ system!)
        of _____________ “AGAINST” (“Anti”) Christ.

    • 1 John 2:18
    • 1 John 2:22
    • 1 John 2:23
      • If you don’t __________ the Son…you don’t ___________ the Father! If you deny that Jesus Christ is ___________…you have __________ ___________ whatsoever with the ____________!
